Very small room with no elevator, but great location and fantastic shower experience

The Royal Hotel has an excellent location near iconic sights, making it easy to explore Nîmes. The staff were particularly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my stay. The hotel’s artistic decor added a charming touch to the experience.

No elevator access.

Dining was served with a view of the Maison Carrée, and breakfast was a delight, even with my allergies! I discovered a lovely local gem, La Bodeguita, for tapas just around the corner.

The shower screen had a gap, but not enough to ruin my vibe. I wish I’d got a heads-up about the Faria festival and the outdoor bar setup, as the upbeat music went until 2am.

I loved the unique art in the common areas and the super comfy bed in my room. Relaxing by the café with a great view and enjoying the nice little garden area really added to the chill vibes. Just a heads up, there’s no elevator, so be ready for some stairs, but it’s totally worth it! 😊

Our family loved staying here! The location was perfect for exploring Nîmes with the kids, and having parking underground was a huge plus. We enjoyed breakfast on the lovely terrace, taking in the beautiful surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Charming atmosphere, spacious room, with a delightful coffee shop that offers a wonderful breakfast selection and close proximity to public transportation options for easy city exploration.

The superior double room was a good size with decent air conditioning, and the location was fantastic for exploring nearby sites. The breakfast was notably good and we enjoyed it outdoors. However, the bathroom cleanliness was questionable, and the absence of a refrigerator or complimentary water was disappointing. Additionally, the nighttime closure of the restaurant/bar contributed to a lack of atmosphere during our stay.

Great choice for a weekend trip in Nimes with excellent value for money. The art vibe in the lobby really stood out and made it feel special. Make sure to grab a parking pass early to avoid extra walking later.
